Binance Setup

A complete guide to setting up your Binance Futures account and API keys for TurboBridge.

Step 1 — Futures account setup

1

Create a Binance account

Register at binance.com and complete identity verification (KYC). Futures trading requires a verified account.

2

Enable Futures trading

Navigate to Derivatives → USD-M Futures. Accept the risk disclosure and enable Futures trading on your account.

3

Fund your Futures wallet

Transfer USDT from your Spot wallet to your Futures wallet. The amount should cover your bot's configured USDT amount plus margin.

4

Keep margin mode to Isolated

Keep your Binance Futures account in Isolated margin mode. TurboBridge automatically configures the required isolated margin mode and leverage during bot setup, but changing them manually afterward may cause execution issues or configuration conflicts. Read More

Step 2 — Create your API key

1

Open API Management

Go to your Binance account → Profile → API Management. Click "Create API" and choose "System Generated".

2

Label your key

Give it a recognisable label like "TurboBridge". This helps you identify it later if you have multiple keys.

3

Complete 2FA verification

Binance requires 2FA to create API keys. Complete the verification step.

4

Save your credentials

Copy both the API Key and Secret Key immediately. The Secret Key is shown only once — if you miss it, you must create a new key.

API Key Checklist
Enable Reading
Required — allows the platform to read account.
Enable Futures
Required — allows order placement on Binance Futures.
Enable Spot & Margin Trading
Not required — disable this.
Enable Withdrawals
Must be disabled — TurboBridge never needs withdrawal access.
Enable Internal Transfer
Not required — disable this.
Restrict access to trusted IPs only
Required — add the IPs shown in the "Add API Keys" Section on your dashboard.

Step 3 — IP whitelisting

IP whitelisting is required. Without it, Binance will reject orders.

When you enable "Restrict access to trusted IPs only" on your Binance API key, only requests from those IPs are accepted. TurboBridge Bots have static outbound IPs — you must add these to your key.

The static IPs are shown on your bot card in the dashboard after your first bot is created.

API key rotation

Rotating your API keys periodically reduces the risk of a compromised key being used without your knowledge. We recommend rotating every 90 days.

  • Create the new key on Binance first
  • Update the new key in TurboBridge via API Keys → Update
  • The platform validates the new key before replacing the old one
  • All bots using that exchange may be auto-paused during the update
  • Resume bots manually after adding IPs if needed.

Do not delete the old key on Binance until the new key is validated and bots are resumed. Deleting the active key while bots are running will cause order failures.

Rotation checklist
Create new key on Binance
Set correct permissions
Add IP whitelist to new key
Update key in TurboBridge
Verify validation passes
Resume paused bots
Delete old key on Binance

Ready to add your keys?

Once your Binance API key is configured, adding it to TurboBridge takes under a minute.
